Ludwig has recently collaborated once again with our drum team to create this Limited-Edition Polar-Phonic Brass Snare Drum. Starting with the legendary 1.2 mm USA Seamless Brass shell, drawn from one single piece of brass and formed into the shell that has been at the center of recorded music for decades. The snare is then outfitted with all copper-plated hardware, including a pair of die-cast hoops for not only a more pronounced and focused attack, but also controlled overtones and a voice that sits perfectly in any setting. Ludwigs proprietary Weather Master heads round out the package, with a coated 10-mil Heavy batter and clear snare side heads. Still made in Monroe, North Carolina, these heads deliver the classic Ludwig sound, show after show.
